Who We Are

Patrick founded this company in 2024 after repeated encouragement from students. He has been a high school teacher for over 15 years. He has a passion for helping young people find their inner spark and ignite their creativity. His career has been spent in an underprivileged district, allowing him to become a master of resourcefulness. Helping teenagers build confidence and find success is one of the greatest joys that comes from working with high school students. When not teaching, Patrick enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife and two daughters. He hopes to someday visit every national park in the United States.

Expertise

Patrick has always had an innate skill for writing, especially translating experiences and emotions into succinct pieces.

Patrick has won multiple national essay competitions ranging in broad subjects from the Seratoma freedom essay to a mother's day competition.

Patrick was a recipient of the (now defunct) Maximus essay competition for the Ohio State University, receiving a full 4-year scholarship. Participants had to handwrite three essays in two hours; he still enjoys discussing his attempt to answer the difficult prompt: "explain color to a person blind at birth."

Patrick helped many of his friends write their admissions and scholarship essays. Carrying that experience into teaching his own students how to construct their essays to best tell their story.
